The Jesuit Youth Commission of the Chinese Province is very happy to announce that the well-crafted documentary Life to the Full: The Jesuits of East Asia and Oceania, a production of JESCOM Foundation and Jesuit Conference Of East Asia and Oceania, is finally released in Chinese subtitles!
The content describes the apostolic works of the Jesuits of East Asia and Oceania. The program includes the following segments:
Disc 1: “Come”, “See”, “Men of Great Desires”, “Men of Great Need for God”, “Friends in the Lord”, “Friends of the Poor”, “To Go Where There is Greatest Need”, “To Be With People”, and “To Be With God”.
Disc 2: “Life to the Full” and “A Jesuit Isn’t Made Overnight”.
The documentary is very appropriate for introducing the Society of Jesus, helping viewers to become familiar with Jesuit apostolic work and spirit of mission, and is also a great tool for vocation promotion. The total length is about 2 hours.
We would especially like to thank the CLC translation subgroup, Fr John Wu for his editing work, Schs. Matthew Hsu and Elton Fernandes for their help with subtitles, the Kuangchi Program Service post production team and of course, Fr Jerry Martinson, for their cooperation in successfully completing this Chinese version.
