These cups filled to the brim with God’s mercy and love,
Are of the same size and given to each one of us from above.
We have to create the outlets to let this love flow,
into our hearts and lives of others. Each one of us must know.
The “haves” do have more than they need just now,
Acknowledging God’s love from their heart is important, but how?
Just see the smile of the “have-nots” for the little they get,
That lets God’s love pour down, we must never forget.
Some of the haves do share their wealth,
This helps God’s love flow to give them good health.
The have-nots often share the little they received,
Just see how God’s love pours down for that good deed.
Some of the haves give back a lot, others a little in return for all they receive,
The have-nots also give back, so difficult to believe,
This should make us realise that the flow of God’s love,
Depends on the size of the outlets, made by us and not by Our Lord up above.
