EAPI Auditorium to be renamed Nicolas Auditorium
In a decision during a EAPI Staff Meeting held here right after Fr. Adolfo Nicolas’ election as the new Superior General of the Society of Jesus, it was unanimously agreed that the EAPI Auditorium will be renamed Nicolas Auditorium in his honor. Happily, it was pointed out that it is a rare and momentous event indeed that a former EAPI Director is elected as the Superior General! In related news, the EAPI Library is also being named effectively as Francis X. Clark Library.
Ongoing Courses
Currently, two ongoing programs, started last January 4 and will end on April 5, are in full swing with their respective modules and activities. In terms of combined number of participants, the Sabbatical Pilgrimage (on its second offering) and the Effective Steward Leadership (A Church for Healing and Reconciliation) are considered with the most number, with a total of 90 participants (14 for Sabbatical and 76 for Pastoral Renewal). This current batch of participants is composed of 1 bishop, 29 priests, 51 religious sisters, 1 religious brother, and 9 lay people. Indeed, EAPI has been blessed with the ever-increasing number of those who want to renew and update themselves to be more effective in working in God’s kingdom.
