The Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific has three International Works that come directly under the President.  All three provide formation.  Two of these – the Arrupe International Residence and the Asia Pacific Tertianship – are for the formation of Jesuits. The third work is the East Asian Pastoral Institute which offers pastoral formation programmes for clergy, religious and laity.

In addition, the Jesuit Conference sponsors two programmes for Jesuit scholastics to foster understanding of two major religions in Asia Pacific, namely Buddhism and Islam.  The East Asia Theological Encounter Programme (EATEP) is held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, while the Asia Pacific Theological Encounter Programme (APTEP) is held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
