Spiritual Exercises in Spain

Fr Francesc Riera Figueras, Superior of the Community at the Cave of St. Ignatius in Manresa, Spain sends this invitation to all Jesuits, religious and lay people who are looking for a place to have their spiritual exercises, “We would like that our ‘holy place’, the birth-place of Ignatian spirituality where Ignatius wrote the core of the Exercises, could become a home for all Jesuits and other religious or lay people in order to practice the Spiritual Exercises for a full month. So we send you our 2009 programme of the courses which are now planned in Spanish and in English (with possibilities of personal guidance also in French, Italian and Portuguese):

  • July 1 to 30 – Javier Melloni, SJ and his team (most places already reserved )
  • August 1 to 30 – Carlos Marcet, SJ (talks in Spanish; personal guidance in Spanish and Portuguese)
  • September 1 to 30 – Francesc Josep and Riera Sugrañes, SJ (talks in Spanish; personal guidance in Spanish, French and Italian)
  • November 1 to 30 – Josep Giménez, SJ (talks in English; personal guidance in Spanish, French and German) and J. M. Bullich, (talks in Spanish; personal guidance in Spanish, English)”
