Ongoing Courses

Currently, two ongoing programs, started last June 29th and ending on December 12, are in full swing with their respective modules and activities. The Sabbatical Pilgrimage have 15 participants and the Pastoral Renewal Program (PRP) has 54, for a combined total of 69 participants. This current batch is composed of 35 priests, 29 religious sisters, and 5 lay people. Indeed, EAPI has been blessed with a good number of those who want to renew and update themselves to be more effective in working in God’s Kingdom.

From September 8-12, Fr Jeyaraj Rasiah, EAPI Director, conducted the module on Contextualized Christology for both programs. This was followed on September 15-19 by Spirituality of Daily Living by Sr. Iñigo Joachim, SSA for the Sabbatical Pilgrimage participants and Harm Not the Earth: Biblical Foundations for an Eco-Spirituality by Dr. Megan McKenna for the PRP participants. Then, from September 22-26, it was another joint session with Dr. Megan McKenna on Let There Be No Harm on All My Holy Mountain: Biblical Perspective on Violence, Peace & Reconciliation.

For October, the Sabbatical Program participants will have sessions with Dr. Ma. Teresa Villasor on Life’s Transition & Spirituality of Midyears from October 6-10. Mr. Earnest Tan will conduct his module on Basic Counseling Skills from the October 2-10 with the PRP group. From October 13-17, the participants will come together for Fr Arasakumar Rayappan’s Themes in the Old Testament.
