Our parents and elders

I dreamt about me crossing over to the other side of the divide.
Expecting to meet earthly judges there, granting me an initial rough ride.
But it was my parents waiting there for me with wide open arms,
Jesus had sent them to meet me first, to quell any qualms.

I realised that I was entering heaven, spiritually naked so to say,
Jesus wanted me to experience that love, when I was born naked that day.
Naked baby in the arms of my parents, but what a flow of love,
Just wait said my parents, there is so much more up above.

And there on the other side to embrace me was Jesus and our Blessed Mother,
Me spiritually naked now, waiting to experience that love like no other.
But Jesus had this to say as I waited to cross over for His embrace,
Wait, you need to be back on earth, there are challenges you have to face.

Parents and the Elderly are often forgotten, which seems to be a trend,
My beloved mother stood by me always and by the cross till the very end.
Your Parents and the Elderly, did things for you often unshown,
They poured love on you till the very end, if you had only known.

When this dream is over, you will be back home on earth,
Care for your Parents and other Elderly, who cared for you from the day of your birth.
They did all, without a word of complaint,
For me, said Jesus, they are nothing other than being my saints.

When they cross over to this other side, we will surely be there.
To welcome them with our arms wide open and eternal love to share.
We are there to welcome you and others, who spread care and love,
You will be in our warm embrace and eternal love from above.
