In his fourth official trip to the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific (JCAP), Fr General Arturo Sosa visited the Australian Province from 21 January to 2 February and the Timor-Leste Region from 2 to 4 February. In both countries, Father General engaged not only with Jesuit communities, but also with Jesuit apostolates engaged in social services, education, parish work, and ministry to young people. He also met with lay and other religious collaborators, benefactors, and friends of the Jesuits, thanking them personally for their support to the Society of Jesus and for “giving their hearts to the marginalised”.
