In two separate letters, Fr General Adolfo Nicolás appointed Fr Colin Tan as the new Regional Superior of Malaysia-Singapore and Fr Joseph Pham Thanh Liem as the new Provincial Superior of Vietnam.

Fr General appointed Fr Colin Tan, as the new Regional Superior of the Jesuits of the Malaysia-Singapore Region (MAS) to succeed Fr Larry Tan, in his letter dated September 28, 2010.
He also appointed Fr Joseph Pham Thanh Liem as the new Provincial Superior of the Jesuits of the Vietnam Province (VIE) to succeed Fr Thomas Vu Quang Trung in his letter dated October 1, 2010. He will take his responsibility as new Provincial of Vietnam Province on November 5, 2010, Feast of All Jesuit Saints.
We congratulate Fr Colin Tan and Fr Joseph Pham Thanh Liem on their appointments and wish both of them all the best in their new undertaking while assuring them of our prayers and support at all times.
