Sameeksha, the Jesuit Centre for Indian Spirituality, Kalady (Kerala Province), India, has been recognised by the Mahatma Gandhi State University as a Research Centre in Philosophy. Research students holding a Masters in Philosophy from any approved university can apply here for doing doctoral studies. Two Jesuits have been approved as guides, but the assistance of several competent Indian Jesuits can be expected.Since topics related to dialogue of religions, encounter between the East and the West, integration in spirituality, transformation of ethical values etc. can be accommodated in the broad area of philosophy, there is a lot of scope for life-related research projects. Jesuits from the Asia Pacific Conference are cordially invited to Sameeksha for research studies.
