Everyone working in the mission of the Society of Jesus is encouraged to participate in this global survey initiated by the Commission on the Role and Responsibilities of Women in the Society of Jesus (Women’s Commission) created by Fr General Arturo Sosa SJ.
The survey aims to study perceptions about women’s roles and responsibilities in the Society of Jesus, how these translate into practices in the ways of proceeding within Jesuit institutions, and recommendations to support the further engagement of women in the Society.
The Women’s Commission intends to reach at least 1,440 respondents across the six Jesuit Conferences, covering the education sector, social apostolate, spiritual life, and other ministries and apostolates of the Jesuits. The results of the survey will be used to help the Women’s Commission make appropriate recommendations to the Society of Jesus in fulfillment of the declarations in Decree 14 of General Congregation 34 on the Jesuits and the Situation of Women in Church and Civil Society.
If you are a Jesuit, a lay, or religious partner of the Society of Jesus, show your support for the presence and role of women in Jesuit ministries in Asia Pacific and take the survey. It takes only 15-20 minutes to make your voice count.
