Schol Richard Anthony (MAS) will be ordained a deacon on October 20, 2007 (Saturday), 10:00 a.m., at St. Augustine’s Church, Oakland, by Archbishop John R. Quinn.
On his letter dated March 3, 2007, Father General Superior has decided to call Fr Colin Tan Chin Hock (MAS) to the Profession of Four Vows. Likewise, on a letter dated July 17, 2007, Father General Superior has decided to call Fr Paul Dass (MAS) to the Profession of Four Vows. Both Frs Colin Tan and Paul Dass have yet to decide a date for their Profession of Four Vows, bearing in mind that it should be done within one year from the date of Father General Superior’s letter calling them to the aforementioned Profession.
On November 3, Br John Su Ah-yuan (CHN), who entered the Society in 1990, will make his final vows at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Chutung, Hsinchu Hsien, Taiwan. We have had several very capable catechists from Taiwanese aboriginal tribes, but Ah-yuan is the first Jesuit.
